2010 HYDRO-TURF APBA WATERCROSS NATIONAL TOUR MYRTLE BEACH MOTO SURF NATIONALS
National Tour Returns to Myrtle Beach, SC

Hydro-Turf APBA Watercross

EASTPOINTE, MI – After two rounds of exciting competition on the West Coast, the 2010 HYDRO-TURF APBA Watercross National Tour makes it way east for some big wave action for the Myrtle Beach Moto Surf Nationals.   The 2010 HYDRO-TURF APBA Watercross National Tour, Presented by Mystik Lubricants and Yamaha with Supporting Tour sponsor Sea-Doo, features a six-event, eleven-round series that will determine the U.S. National Tour Champions in eleven Pro-Am and Expert racing classes including Women’s classes. The 2010 series will consist of five double rounds events spread throughout the United States, plus the HYDRO-TURF APBA Watercross Nationals in Nashville, Tennessee, which will counted as a double points round, as the final stop.

The 2010 HYDRO-TURF APBA Watercross National Tour third and fourth rounds will take place in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on June 5 and 6, 2010 at the Springmaid Beach Resort.  The Myrtle Beach event will see some of the best closed course racers and teams from around the United States continue the chase for the coveted 2010 APBA Watercross National Tour Championships.  Except for the National Championship in Nashville, Myrtle Beach has been the largest attended National Tour stop for the past three years. If past events hold true the huge surf of Myrtle Beach will provide the most exciting racing action you may see all year long.  The event is run as a feature attraction of the annual Sun Fun Festival that includes concerts from Uncle Kracker, fireworks, the Miss Sun Fun Teen pageant and much more.  All the United States top racers are expected to be in attendance including Dustin Farthing, Chris MacClugage, Erminio Iantosca, Eric Lagopoulos, Eric Francis, Dustin Charrier, Tim Neff, Brian Baldwin, Troy Snyder, Dennis Mack, Ricker Sherker, Jake Zier and Amy Green to name a few.  There were some awesome racing action at the opening rounds in Parker and the battle will continue in Myrtle Beach.  The first two rounds were flat water events and the Myrtle Beach surf race will really test the racers PWC racing skills.

The action both on and off the water is going to be intense with all riders vying for victory and their share of prize money.  In addition to event prize money, Supporting sponsor Sea-Doo has posted an impressive contingency program for the racers. The half mile long Pier in Myrtle Beach is great opportunity for the race fans to see some exciting big wave race action.  It is going to be an event not to be missed, so make your plans today to be a part of the all the action in Myrtle Beach.  Mike Young of the Pro Hydro-X Tour is the promoter of the Myrtle Beach event.  Each round will be filmed and a half hour show from each round will air of three different cable networks.  Stay tuned for the dates and times.

The 2010 National Tour has some great stops at some of the racers favorite race sites.  The Tour also makes stops in Parker, Arizona; Harbor Beach, Michigan; Belle River Canada; and Colonial Beach, Virginia; before making the final stop in Nashville, Tennessee for the season ending APBA Watercross Nationals.   Next stop July 10-11 in Harbor Beach, Michigan.
