 JEREMY HOYLAND
Shawn Alladio, IJSBA Water Safety Director and Jeremy Hoyland IJSBA World Finals Race Director for 2008 discuss a call on the event beach in Lake Havasu Arizona during the week long competition. Jeremy is not only a colleague but a close friend of mine and others.
Jeremy Hoyland has been missing in Bali since mid October, when his PWC broke down and he was adrift trying to hail assistance via his cell phone. Search and Recovery efforts so far have not found any information leading up to Jeremy's whereabouts.

 2008 Man of the Year
My favorite story in RIDE magazine is the current Nov/Dec isssue about Brad Colbert.
He was one of the best students I have had the privilege of working with and that proved true
as we headed out on our Jet Skis, riding after hours when he was off duty off of Camp Pendleton. It was
my hope we could race together in the Mark Hahn 300 endurance race, but I think Brad's scheduling
is more hectic than my own! Almost impossible huh?

The AWA Kentucky Safety Day group photo, big thanks to the Gilliliand Family yet again
for another year of good service to the PWC community. Ray "Bullet" Hedger and family
came out with other local PWC riders to take the Kentucky Boating safety exam and then followed
up on the water with our hands our program.

Campside with the NORcal and Socal Watercraft Clubs! This was after we enjoyed the barbecue
culinary delights from Ahmed! What is great about the California AWA Charter Clubs is they often
have gatherings of all thier club members, fostering a true spirit of fellowship! That's what I like
best about the PWC Nation!

 The Norcal AWA FREEDOM Ride held on the Sacramento Delta, summer of 2008. My
friend Gavin Rafferty and I attended and worked on the ride which landed us at a return point at
Stockton, then it was off to a really great gathering of friends and a barbecue!
